Custom Tees for Every Need

From single custom tees to full-run corporate orders, we handle everything in-house. Here's what we do and when each method makes sense for your project.

Screen Printing

The industry standard for runs over 12 pieces. Ink bonds directly to the fabric using mesh screens -- the result is a soft, vibrant print that outlasts the shirt. Best for solid colors and designs with 1-6 ink colors. We run up to 8 colors in a single pass on our M&R Gauntlet GT-8 Revolver.

DTF (Direct-to-Film)

Full-color printing with no setup minimum. Perfect for small runs, photo-realistic designs, gradients, and orders mixing garment types. Transfers are pressed onto the shirt in seconds and hold up through hundreds of washes. Zero color limits, zero screen fees.

Custom Embroidery

Premium decoration for hats, polos, jackets, and workwear. We hand-digitize every design for the best stitch quality. Perfect for custom hats, Richardson 112 truckers, Carhartt beanies, and Flexfit fitted caps.

Laser Engraving

Custom leather patches, branded tumblers, wood products, and gifts. Our CO2 laser engraver pairs perfectly with our leather patch hat program -- engrave a patch, press it onto a hat, ship it as one complete item.

What Print Pros Say About Quality Custom Tees

"The blank garment is 60% of the final product. A world-class print on a $2 blank will never feel or wear like a world-class print on a quality blank. Shops that help clients choose the right garment -- not just the cheapest one -- build repeat customers because the shirts hold up and people come back."
- Decorated apparel sourcing guidance from Stitches Magazine, a PRINTING United Alliance publication
"DTF technology has fundamentally changed the no-minimum custom tee market. What used to require a 24-piece screen printing minimum can now be done as a single unit with full-color capability. The production quality gap between DTF and screen printing has narrowed to the point where, for small runs and complex designs, DTF is now the obvious recommendation."

What Battle Born Customers Say

From our Junip reviews (4.62 stars / 21 reviews).

★★★★★

"Quality is next level. I've ordered custom tees from a dozen shops over the years and Battle Born is the first one where I couldn't find anything to complain about. Print is crisp, the shirt itself is soft, and it shipped faster than expected."

★★★★★

"Ordered one custom tee to test them out before placing a bigger order. Wasn't expecting much for a single shirt. Got back a print that looked better than the 50-piece order I just got from another shop. Placing the big order next week."

FAQ -- Custom Tees Near Me

I only need one custom tee. Will you actually print it?

Yes, no minimum means no minimum. One shirt, printed the same way as a 500-piece run. For single pieces, we'll typically recommend DTF transfers since there are no screen setup fees. You get a full-color, high-quality print without paying for screens you're only using once. Total cost is usually between $20-40 depending on the blank and design complexity.

How do I get my art to you?

After you submit your quote request, we'll send you a reply with an email address and upload link for art files. Preferred formats: AI, EPS, PDF (with outlined fonts) for screen printing; high-res PNG (300 DPI, transparent background) for DTF. If you only have a JPEG or a logo pulled from a website, our art team will work with it and include a prep fee if significant cleanup is needed.

How long does it take to get custom tees?

Standard production is 7-10 business days from approved art. Add 1-3 business days for shipping depending on your location. If you have a firm deadline, tell us upfront -- rush production (5-7 days) is available for an additional fee. We'd rather know about your timeline on day one than scramble at the end.

What blank tee do you recommend?

For most custom tee orders we default to Next Level 6210 CVC -- 60/40 cotton/polyester blend that's soft, holds its shape, and takes screen printing and DTF beautifully. For heavier apparel or workwear, we run V.I.T. heavyweight fleece hoodies and Gildan 5000 for budget runs. Premium options like Bella+Canvas and Next Level 3600 are available on request.

Can I see a proof before you print?

Every order gets a digital proof before we touch the press. You'll see the design placement, colors, and sizing on a mockup of the actual garment. We don't print until you approve in writing. One round of revisions is included with every order; additional revisions at a minor art fee if your design changes significantly from the original brief.

Do you offer bulk discounts on custom tees?

Yes. Screen printing pricing scales favorably with quantity -- setup costs (screens) stay flat while the per-shirt cost drops as the run gets longer. The pricing really starts working in your favor at 24, 48, and 72-piece thresholds. Get a quote with your quantity and we'll show you the exact tiered pricing. We use Teesom for order management, so the numbers are transparent and itemized.
